Developing young leaders for tomorrow.

What is Role Models and Leaders Australia?

Role Models and Leaders Australia (RMLA) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation founded in 2004 by Olympian and champion basketballer Ricky Grace (AM, MEdL, BPolSc). RMLA develops and empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through leadership training, mentoring, sport and extra-curricular education programs. Our goal is to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in overcoming the barriers that prevent them from completing their education.

Girls Academy

Girls Academy is the leading provider of school-based engagement programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls in Australia. It works within the school system to drive community-led solutions aimed at overcoming the obstacles that prevent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls from attending and achieving at school.

Up4It

The Up4It leadership development program is designed to improve school attendance rates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Western Australia. The program focuses on self-esteem, goal setting and achievement. This is delivered by promoting positive healthy lifestyles by teams of Indigenous and non-Indigenous sports and professional role models.
